Garlic, sunlight, coffins... there's a lot of well known vampire lore. Most people think of these things as "traditional". In fact many - if not most - of
the things we associate with vampires today are relativel modern. Many were simply invented by film makers because they looked good on the big screen! On these
pages I'll look at some of the most well known elements of vampire lore and discuss their origins.
